- Tap “Forgot password?” under the Password field.
- Enter the email address on your Untappd account.
- Open the email Untappd sends and follow the link to set a new password.
You can also go straight to untappd.com/account/reset_password. You must be signed out to view this page.
Sign in with email and password
- In the Untappd app, tap Log In, then Continue with Email.
- Enter your email (or username) and the password you just set.

You can use that email and password from then on. Facebook login is no longer offered in the app or on the web.

- In Facebook, open facebook.com/settings?tab=applications.
- Remove Untappd from Active Apps and Websites.
Deleting posts, photos, or videos on Facebook is optional.
Good to know
- After you set a password, you can change it anytime in Settings (the gear icon at the top right of Discover, or on your profile) > Account & Security > Change Password.
- If Change Password says your account was created with Facebook, use the email reset above first.
Don't see it?
- Don't see Forgot password? Tap Log In, then Continue with Email, and you'll find it under the Password field.
- Seeing "Your account was created with Facebook. Please login using your Facebook account." when you log in? Use Forgot password? to set a password first.
- No longer have access to the email on your account? On the reset page, choose I don't know or have access to my email.
- Don't see a Facebook button on login? That is expected in 5.0.
- Still can't get a reset email? Confirm the address and check spam, or contact Untappd support.
