To log out of every logged-in device and third-party app at once, reset your password on the web and choose to log out of all devices. In the app, Settings (the gear icon at the top right of Discover, or on your profile) > Account & Security > Devices lets you remove a device from notifications, but that does not log the device out.
Log out of all devices (web password reset)
- Open untappd.com/account/reset_password. In the app, you can also tap Log In, then Continue with Email, then Forgot password?.
- Open the reset link in the email Untappd sends.
- Enter your email, new password, and password confirmation.
- For Do you want to log-out of all devices and third-party apps?, choose Yes. It's set to No by default, so be sure to change it.
- Tap Change Password.
You'll be logged out everywhere that session applied, including third-party apps that used your Untappd login.
Log out of all devices (web, while logged in)
If you know your current password, you can also do this from Account Settings on untappd.com.
- Open Account Settings and find Change Password.
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice.
- Check Log-out of all devices and third-party apps?
- Click Update Password.
Every other device and app is logged out. You'll stay logged in on the browser you're using.
Remove a device from notifications (app)
Removing a device stops Untappd notifications on that device. It does not log the device out.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Account & Security.
- Tap Devices.
- On a device that isn't labeled This Device, tap the red X (Remove Device).
- When asked to remove the device, tap Yes.
You can't remove the device you're using now (This Device).
Good to know
- The Devices screen says removed devices are not logged out. Use the password-reset steps above when you need a full log out.
- Each device row shows the device name, Added On: with a date, and This Device will indicate the device you're holding.
Don't see it?
- Don't see Devices? Open Settings from the gear on Discover or on your profile (not Community), then Account & Security. The list is hidden if you're using Untappd without an account.
- Don't see a red X on a row? That's your current device, which you can't remove.
