Deleting your Untappd account removes your user-generated content. After you confirm, the account is permanently and irreversibly removed from Untappd systems in 7 days. You can cancel the deletion by logging in again with your username and password within that 7 days. Delete in the app under Settings (the gear icon at the top right of Discover, or on your profile) > Account & Security > Delete Account, or on the web.
On the app
- Open Settings.
- Tap Account & Security.
- Tap Delete Account at the bottom.
- Read the warning and the four disclosures:
- Your username will be removed from search within 24 hours
- Once you confirm, the account will be permanently and irreversibly removed from Untappd systems in 7 days
- You can cancel by logging in again with your username and password within that 7 days
- The email address and username will not be available until after that 7 days has passed
- Enter your password.
- Tap Confirm Account Deletion.
- You'll see a success message and be logged out of Untappd.
On the web
- Log in on the web to the account you want to delete.
- Go to untappd.com/account.
- Scroll to Delete Account and click Delete My Account.
- Enter your password, then click Confirm Deletion.
Good to know
- If you're an Untappd Insider, you must cancel your subscription before deleting your account. You can't delete an account while the subscription is still set to renew.
- You'll need your password to delete your account. If you signed up with Apple or Google and never set a password, set one by email first.
- Producer accounts can't be deleted this way. Contact support for help.
- Once the account is past the 7 days holding period, it cannot be restored.
- Canceling deletion means logging back in within those 7 days with your username and password.
Don't see it?
Don't see Delete Account? Open Settings from the gear on Discover or on your profile (not Community), then Account & Security, and scroll to the bottom. The row is hidden if you're using Untappd without an account.
