On the web, Sign in with Apple only works if your Untappd account was created with Apple or already linked on mobile. Link Apple in the iPhone or iPad app under Settings > Account & Security before you use Sign in with Apple on the web.
On the web (existing or already linked)
- Open the Untappd sign-in page on untappd.com.
- Click Sign in with Apple.
- Authorize with Apple.
You'll land on Home on untappd.com.
On the web (Apple not linked to Untappd)
You cannot create a new Untappd account with Sign in with Apple on the web, and you cannot start the Apple link from the web alone. Link on app first (steps below), or sign in another way.
The web sign-in page also has Sign in with Google. New Google users can create an Untappd account on the web. Apple cannot.
If Apple is not connected to an Untappd account, you're redirected back to sign-in with: "Sign In With Apple currently only supports existing accounts, creating an account is not supported".
Link Apple or Google in the app
- Open Settings (the gear icon at the top right of Discover, or on your profile; not on Community).
- Tap Account & Security.
- Under Sign in With Apple, tap Sign in with Apple to link your account, or Remove Sign in With Apple to unlink it. Follow the prompts.
You can link Apple or Google, but not both. To switch, remove the one that's linked first.
The status updates to Linked or Not Linked.
