Untappd 5.0 has four tabs at the bottom of the screen: Discover, Community, Shop and Search.
What each tab shows
- Discover shows what's around you. Get taken to Places, Events, Badges, Shop and Drinks by tapping title in the header. You may change the display of these sections with the adjust icon under the location. Tap the location name chip in top left corner to see all discover content change by chosen city. You can access the map by tapping the map button at the bottom.
- The Community tab at the bottom of the screen is your feed. Filter it with All Posts, Friends, Places, Nearby, Blogs and News.
- Shop shows Untappd merchandise, drinks, or both for sale based on your location.
- Search finds drinks, producers and places.
Open your profile
- Open your profile (tap your avatar at the top right of Discover or Community).
Tap the badges at the top of your profile (the Badges tile) to see them.
Find your stats and lists
Your profile has four sections: Drinks, Events, Lists and Check-ins, plus Drink Statistics. Lists hold drinks and places, including your Wish List. Tap View Stats button or the Drink Statistics title or caret to open them.
Check your notifications
- Tap the bell icon at the top of the Community tab.
A dot on the bell means new toasts (likes), comments, tags, or updates.
Open Settings
- Open Settings (the gear icon at the top right of Discover, or on your profile page).
Start a check-in
- Tap the yellow Check-in button (the round + at the bottom right of Discover and Community).
Drink and place pages have the check-in button too. The three-dot Check-in shortcut is now on drinks in search results and lists and on check-ins in the feed too.
Don't see it?
Don't see the Shop tab, or the magnifying glass in Settings? Both are hidden if you're using Untappd without an account.
Don't see the yellow Check-in button? Go to Settings > App Settings > Advanced / Reset and turn on Show Check-in Button.
