The Community tab at the bottom of the screen is your feed. It shows check-ins, place updates, blogs, and news. Filter what you see with the chips under the header.
Open the feed
- Tap the Community tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap a chip to filter down to one type of content: Friends, Places, Nearby, Blogs, or News. All Posts is the default view and show all post types.
- You'll then see a feed of only that content type.
Friends and Groups
- Tap Friends to see check-ins from your friends only.
- Groups sit above the feed. Tap a group, or tap + New to create one if you don't have one yet.
Place updates, blogs, and news
- Places and All Posts can show Place Update posts from places you've subscribed to. This includes menu updates and event additions.
- Blogs and News show editorial posts.
Toast a check-in
You can toast a check-in (similar to ‘liking’ a post on other platforms) from the feed. There are two methods of toasting a check-in: selecting Toast, or by simply double-tapping the check-in.
Check notifications
- Tap the bell icon at the top of the Community tab.
- This opens all of your notifications. The red alert dot will be removed when the bell is tapped and new notifications are viewed.
Good to know
- All Posts can include check-ins, place updates, blogs, news, and promotions.
- You can toast a check-in from the feed (including a double-tap).
Don't see it?
Don't see Place Update, Blogs, or News content? Those chips stay. The feed only fills when that content exists for you.
