Add a New Beer/Brewery

You can add beers or breweries if they are not yet in our database by searching for the beer/brewery and tapping on the "Can't Find" option to begin the creation process.

If you are a brewery head over to our Brewery Page Management Tools guide as you can add beers directly in your brewery account.

A few things to note regarding adding beers/breweries:

• A beer cannot exist on Untappd without being associated with a brewery
• A brewery cannot exist without being associated with at least one beer
• If a brewery already exists on Untappd you can add a beer directly to that brewery
• If a brewery does not yet exist on Untappd you can create the brewery during a beer creation process

You can add beer(s) to Untappd as long as you have not had your creation privileges revoked due to multiple improper entries. 

Make sure to check out the Beverage Guidelines and Naming Standards before adding any new beer to Untappd and the Supported Brewery Types before adding a new brewery to Untappd. If your additions are not Supported they will be flagged for deletion and you will lose your creation abilities. 

If you are unsure if a beverage is acceptable please reach out to our Support team to determine if it is supported or not.

Mobile App:

Adding a new Beer to an existing Brewery:

1. Search for the beer you want to add and scroll down the search results and tap on the "Can't Find Beer?" prompt
   
2. Once you have read the guidelines for adding beer tap on "Agree and Continue"
3. Fill out the form and tap "Add Beer"
   

Adding a new Beer to a new Brewery:

1. Search for the beer you want to add and scroll down the search results and tap on the "Can't Find Beer?" prompt
   
2. Once you have read the guidelines for adding beer tap on "Agree and Continue"
3. Select the "Brewery" field, search for the Brewery you want to add and tap on the "Can't find the Brewery?" prompt
   
4. Fill out the form and tap "Add Brewery"
   
5. You will be taken back to the beer form - finish filling out the form tap "Add Beer"
   

Web App: 

Adding a new Beer to an existing Brewery:

1. Search for the beer you want to add, scroll down the search results and tap on the "Can't Find Beer?" prompt
2. Once you have read the guidelines for adding beer, fill out the form and click "Add New Beer"

Adding a new Beer to a new Brewery:

1. Search for the beer you want to add, scroll down the search results and tap on the "Can't Find Beer?" prompt
2. Once you have read the guidelines for adding beer, select the "Brewery Name" field, search for the Brewery you want to add and click on the "Don't see your brewery? Click here to add it" prompt and fill out the dynamic brewery fields
3. Continue filling out the rest of the beer information and click "Add New Beer"
