On the Discover tab you can reorder sections, change the location Discover uses, open the map, and set how far nearby results look. Open Discover from the bottom of the screen. Settings is the gear icon at the top right of Discover, or on your profile (not on Community).
Reorder Discover sections
- Open the Discover tab.
- Tap Organize Sections on the section strip.
- Press and hold a section, then drag to reorder. All sections stay shown. You cannot hide any.
- Tap Update Organization. To go back to the original order, tap Reset to Default, then tap Update Organization.
- You'll see Discover sections in your new order.
Change Discover location
- On Discover, tap the location pill at the top left.
- On Choose Location, search with City or Region, or tap Explore Nearby to use your current location.
- Pick a result from search or Recent (up to three recent searches).
- You'll see Discover update for that place. Toasts can say Location set to {city} or Using current location. If nothing matches, you may see Location not found.
Open the map
- On Discover, tap the yellow Map pill near the bottom center.
- You'll see the full-screen map. The tab bar is hidden while the map is open.

Set distance defaults
- Open Settings (gear on Discover or on your profile).
- Tap Location.
- Under Distance Defaults, set Find Drink and Discover Tab (1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 75, or 100 miles, or kilometers if you use kilometers in Localization).
Those distances control how far nearby results look for Find It / Find Drinks and for Discover.
Good to know
- Sections can be reordered but never hidden. Shop still appears in Organize Sections even if the Shop section is off for your account.
- A section only shows on Discover when it has something to show. For example, Local Badges only appears when there are badges near you.
- Your section order is saved on this device. If you switch phones or reinstall, you'll need to set it again.
- Discover section headers you may see include Nearby Places, Trending Places, Upcoming Events, Local Badges, New in Shop, Trending Drinks, Top Rated Drinks, For You, and Top Rated Producers.
- For location permission issues, use Settings > Location > Troubleshoot Location.
Don't see it?
- Don't see Organize Sections? Look on the Discover section strip (not in Settings).
- Don't see the location selector? If you're on the Discover tab, tap on the location in the top left of the screen
- Gear missing on Community? Open Settings from Discover or your profile instead.
