Choose whether Untappd opens on Discover or the Community tab at the bottom of the screen. Turn Open to Discover tab on or off under Settings > Advanced / Reset (group Start Up Options). Default is “on” (Discover). “Off” opens Community.
On the app
- Open Settings (the gear icon at the top right of Discover, or on your profile; not on Community).
- Tap Advanced / Reset (under App Settings; the screen title reads Advanced).
- Under Start Up Options, turn Open to Discover tab on or off.
- Fully close and reopen the app. You'll land on Discover when the toggle is on, or on Community when it is off.
Good to know
- Default is “on” (Discover). “Off” opens Community.
- This only sets the tab after a fresh launch. You can still switch tabs anytime.
- Reset Settings to Default on the same screen resets all of your app settings, not just this one. That includes things like your theme and camera settings.
Don't see it?
- Don't see Open to Discover tab? Open Settings > Advanced / Reset while using a registered account.
- Looking for "Open to Search"? That 4.x label is gone; the control is Open to Discover tab.
- Gear missing on Community? Open Settings from Discover or your profile.
