My Digital Menus Fall Asleep/Won't Load on My Fire TV Device

If your Fire stick is cutting to your home screen or crashing after some time, please try the following:

1. Please ensure that you're using the Digital Menus by Untappd app through your Fire stick and not the Silk browser.

2. Restart your device. Press and hold the Select and Play/Pause buttons at the same time, for 10 seconds.

• For best results, restart your device once every few days or weekly

3. Please ensure that your Fire stick's screensaver is set to never.

1. From the Fire TV menu, select Settings.
2. Go to Displays & Sounds.
3. Select Screensaver
4. Select Start Time, and then set to Never.

4. Please Turn Off the CEC Device Control on your Fire Stick  

1. From the Fire TV menu, select Settings.
2. Go to Displays & Sounds.
3. Select HDMI CEC Device Control
4. You should see that the setting has been turned off.

Clearing the cache for the Digital Menus by Untappd app.

1. From the Fire TV menu, select Settings.
2. Go to Applications.
3. In Manage Installed Applications, select the app you are having trouble with.
4. Select Clear Cache, and then Clear Data.

Uninstall and reinstall the Digital Menus by Untappd app:

1. From the Fire TV menu, select Settings.
2. Next, go to Applications and select Manage Installed Applications.
3. Select the app, then Uninstall.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Reinstall the app.

Check your Amazon Fire TV for software updates:

1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
2. Select My Fire TV.
3. Select About.
4. Select Check for System Update.
