If your digital menu display is being cut off at the edges, you'll want to calibrate your display from the settings within the Fire stick in order to fit the content to your screen.
Note before beginning:
The options you will have regarding your screen's resolution are limited to those which are detected by the stick as being supported by your TV or monitor. You will not be able to display a resolution that is different than what your television is capable of, regardless of the Fire TV stick model you are using; i.e. you may have purchased a 4K Amazon Fire TV Stick, but you won’t be able to achieve 4K resolution unless your TV or monitor supports that resolution.
To set the stick's resolution:
- Access the Settings menu in one of two ways: Navigate over to the far right on your home screen until you get to Settings OR Press and hold the home button on the Fire stick remote, and then click Settings. Choose Display & Sounds:
- On the Display & Sounds page, click Display, then Video Resolution:
- Now choose a resolution from the list:
Once you have the resolution set, you will need to go back and select the Calibrate Display option to continue to fit your menu to the screen. If the tips of the gray arrows do not touch the edges of your screen, use the up and down arrows on your remote to adjust them correctly.
Once the arrows are in the correct position, select Accept.
You're all set!
