Add and Remove Friends

Curious about what your friends are drinking or where they're hanging out?  Adding friends on Untappd is easy! There are a few ways you can find and add friends:

• Social Networks
• Username Search
• Nametag

 If other users reach out to you, you can accept or decline the invite.  Didn't mean to accept a friend request?  No worries, you can remove friends as well.

Adding Friends:

Social Network:

1. From your profile page click on the "Friends" icon
2. Select "Add"
3. Select the applicable network to scan
4. Click on the "Add" icon to send a request

Username Search

1. From your profile page click on the "Friends" icon
2. Select "Add"
3. Search for the username of who you want to add
4. Click on the "Add" icon to send a request

Nametag:

Nametags are a quick way to scan and quickly send friend requests without searching or guessing which friend is the one you want.

1. From your discover tab click on the "QR" icon at the top left of the screen. This will display your nametag for others to scan
2. To scan someone else's nametag click on the "Scan a Nametag" button

Accepting a Friend Request:

1. From your profile page click on the "Friends" icon (you'll see a red dot if you have a pending request)
2. You can select the "Accept" icon or "Decline" icon

Removing Friends:

1. From your profile page click on the "Friends" icon
2. Find the friend you would like to remove and view their profile
3. Click the "..." icon in the top right corner
4. Click "Remove Friend"
