Once your digital board has been set up, find it on the main Digital Menus page and open it by clicking on its name:
Theme Tab: Select a Base Design
On the first tab of the customizer, Theme, you will be able to choose your template from among a selection of designs for your board. We have added several new highly customizable themes for you to choose from:
In addition to the redesigned Chalkboard theme, there are several other themes to choose from! If you have an idea for a new theme, email us here!
The Snacktime, Pizza Box, Vineyard, Bricks, Stone, Maple, and Arcade themes also allow you to change the primary accent colors for a totally different look. For example:

If none of the available themes catches your eye, you can always create a design from scratch by uploading your own background images, experimenting with the available font styles (or, upload your own font with a Premium subscription), and more!
Structure Tab: Visual Layout
On the second tab, Structure, you'll be able to set up the board's orientation, layout, number of items on screen, and more:
*If you are using a Portrait (vertical) layout, you'll find instructions on how to rotate your TV screen here.
There are some limitations of structure depending on the selections made. If either Compressed or Table is chosen as the layout, the number of columns allowed will be restricted to no more than two and you will see those options grayed out as shown below:
No portrait (vertical) themes will allow more than two columns regardless of the layout selected. Compressed and Table layouts will also restrict selections under Container Organization.
Design Tab: Customizable Options
On the third tab, Design, you'll be able to choose specific attributes of your board, such as fonts, colors, beer info, etc.

Custom CSS:
- If you are a Premium Tier subscriber, you will have access to add custom CSS to your board to control its design elements. Please see our article here for additional info.
Once you have all of the above set up to your liking, click the 'Save and Close' button. Keep in mind that all changes in template or to the design autosave instantly and previous settings are irretrievable, so if you would like to try out multiple designs, it is best to set up multiple boards to experiment on.
You can quickly and easily duplicate an existing digital board design by finding it on the digital menus dashboard and clicking the three vertical dots. Choose 'Duplicate' from the pop up window to create it:
The new menu will generate as, "Copy of XYZ" in your list of boards. You can rename it anything you'd like by going back to the vertical dot menu and clicking 'Settings.'
When your board is done, copy down the Digital Board ID to your board to enter it into your device. You can find that info for your board on the main Digital Menus page:
*If you are using the single page display option, you'll need to do a couple of additional steps.
On your Fire stick, enter the appropriate board ID into each TV's stick. On the TV for pages 2+, you'll need to use the ring key on your remote to advance to page 2, 3, 4, etc.
