A flair is the small icon on top of your avatar. Pick one under Change Flair on Edit Profile. Open your profile (tap your avatar at the top right of Discover or Community), then the edit pencil. Some flairs need an Insider subscription to access.
Choose a flair
- Open your profile, then tap the edit pencil (Edit Profile).
- Tap your avatar, then tap Change Flair.
- On Change Flair, pick a flair under Your Flairs, or choose None to clear it.
- Tap Save Flair.
- You'll see the flair on your profile picture.
Insider-locked flairs
Under Insiders Only, locked flairs show a yellow lock. If you're not an Insider, tap Become an Insider or any locked flair to subscribe.
Everyone can open Change Flair. Which flairs you can save depends on your account and Insider status. Flair names are set by Untappd and can change.
Moderators
If you're a moderator, the screen notes: "Note: As a moderator, you will always have the green moderator flair, regardless of your selection here."
Good to know
- None removes a selected flair (moderators still keep the green moderator flair).
- Flair is not the same as badges at the top of your profile.
- If your Insider subscription ends, any Insider-only flair is removed from your profile.
- Settings is the gear icon at the top right of Discover, or on your profile (not on Community). Flair lives on Edit Profile, not in Settings.
Don't see it?
- Don't see Change Flair? Open Edit Profile from your own profile pencil (or Settings > Your Profile), then tap your avatar.
- Can't select a locked flair? They stay under Insiders Only until you have Insider.
- Using Untappd without an account? Sign up first. Edit Profile is for registered accounts.
