If there are multiple listings for the same beer in your brewery you can merge them. To merge a beer:
- Navigate to your Beer Management tab
- Click on the "Merge" button next to the beer you want to merge
- Search for the duplicate listing(s) using the beer name(s) or the beer ID(s)
- The beer ID can be found in a beers URL. For example, 1787965 is the beer ID for https://untappd.com/b/new-anthem-beer-project-steez/1787965
- If there is a duplicate listing on a different brewery page (such as a guest tap or a collaboration) please reach out to us so we can take care of those for you
- Move the duplicate listing(s) to the merge list
- You can merge multiple listings at one time, just add them all to the merge list
- Click "Create Merge List"
- Select which beer should be the master listing and enter the rationale for the merge
- Generally speaking, you want to select the beer with a label or the oldest beer as the master
- You can also designate if you want the child beer to be listed as an alias - this may help prevent duplicates from being created in the future
- Click "Submit Merge List"
- Your merge request will be sent to our team for final review and processing
