In the app, you can delete any of your own check-ins from the three-dot menu on a check-in on the feed or on your profile, or from the three-dot menu at the top right of the screen when you open the check-in. On the web, use the Delete Check-In option on the check-in. Deleting is permanent, so if you only need to fix a detail, edit the check-in instead.
On the app
- Find the check-in, either on the Community tab at the bottom of the screen or on your profile (tap your avatar at the top right of Discover or Community) under Check-ins.
- Tap the three-dot menu on the check-in.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
The check-in disappears from the Community tab and from your profile.
Good to know
Deleting a check-in also removes its toasts (a toast is similar to a like on other social platforms), its comments, its photos, and any badges you earned with it. It also lowers your total check-in count. Your unique count only goes down if this was your only check-in of that drink. There is no undo, and Support can't restore a badge from a deleted check-in (see the Check-In Removal and Deletion Policy). Your friends aren't notified. You can only delete one check-in at a time.
On the web
- On untappd.com, open your profile and find the check-in.
- Select Delete Check-In.
You can also select View Detailed Check-in and delete it from that screen.
Don't see it?
Delete only appears on your own check-ins. You can't delete someone else's check-in, but you can report it with Flag Check-in from the same menu.
