Top Beers Report Glossary
Below we have included a table of terms and definitions that are used in the Top Beers Report.
| Term | Definition |
| Check-In | Abbreviated "CI" throughout the reports. An action recorded by an Untappd user to confirm consumption of a beer. A check-in generally includes a rating on a 5-point scale and a location (i.e., a venue at which the consumption occurred). |
Top Beers by # Check-Ins in Report Month Module
| Rank | The rank of the beer based on the column that is selected to sort by. The default rank is number of Check-Ins in the selected report month. |
| Movement | The change in rank for the beer from the prior month. |
| CI Report Month | The number of Check-Ins received by the beer in the report month. |
| Beer Name | The name of the beer, with a link to the Untappd beer page included. |
| Brewery Name | The name of the brewery corresponding to the beer. |
| Brewery Type | Untappd designation for the type of brewery (macro, regional, micro, etc.). |
| Style | The primary Untappd style of the corresponding beer. Untappd uses the BJCP style guide with some modifications. |
| Substyle | The Untappd sub-style of the corresponding beer. Untappd uses the BJCP style guide with some modifications. |
| CI 12 Months | The number of Check-Ins the beer has received in the last 12 months. |
| Rating Report Month | The average rating of all Check-Ins to the beer in the selected report month. |
| Rating 12 Month | The average rating of all Check-Ins to the beer over the last 12 months. |
Top Beers by Avg Rating in Report Month Module
| Rank | The rank of the beer based on the column that is selected to sort by. The default rank is Average Rating of Check-Ins to the beer in the selected report month. |
| Movement | The change in rank for the beer from the prior month. |
