This is an Insider feature (a paid Untappd subscription). Save an unfinished check-in and pick it up later from Saved Check-ins on the drink search screen opened from the yellow Check-in button (the round + at the bottom right of Discover and Community).
Save a check-in draft
- Tap the yellow Check-in button.
- Choose a drink so the check-in screen opens.
- Add anything you like (rating, photo, place, friends, note). Leave at least one change unfinished.
- Leave the check-in screen without posting using the X in top left corner.
- When Save Check-in? appears, tap Save Check-in.
You'll see a confirmation (the message will confirm the draft saved). Your draft is under Saved Check-ins.
Open a saved check-in
- Tap the yellow Check-in button.
- Under Saved Check-ins (above Nearby Drinks), tap the row you want. Rows show Saved with how long ago you saved it.
- Finish any details you want to add.
- Note: Your time and date is updated to the current time.
- Tap Check-in to post.
You'll see your check-in in the Community tab at the bottom of the screen like any other post.
Delete a saved check-in
- Tap the yellow Check-in button.
- In Saved Check-ins, tap the red X on the row.
- Confirm Delete saved check-in?
That draft is removed. It is not posted.
Good to know
- The section label is Saved Check-ins. You will see a message letting you know that the Draft was saved.
- If you leave an unfinished check-in and you are not an Insider, Save Check-in? offers Become an Insider instead of saving.
- A vintage year you picked stays on the saved check-in. If a drink is gone, the row can show Drink no longer available.
Don't see it?
Don't see Saved Check-ins? You need an Insider subscription, and you need at least one saved draft. Open drink search from the yellow Check-in button (not the Search tab). Don't see Save Check-in? when you leave? Add a change on the check-in screen first, then leave without posting.
