This is an Insider feature (a paid Untappd subscription). Rate check-ins on a 0.1 scale with Enable 0.1 Ratings under Settings > Insiders. The toggle is on by default for Insiders. Turn it off if you prefer 0.25 steps.
On the app
- Open Settings (the gear icon at the top right of Discover, or on your profile; not on Community).
- Tap Insiders (shown only when you are an Insider).
- Turn Enable 0.1 Ratings on or off.
- You'll see 0.1 steps on the check-in screen when the toggle is on, or 0.25 steps when it is off.
On the web
- Open untappd.com/account/settings while signed in (or use Account Settings from your profile menu).
- Find 0.1 Ratings.
- Choose Enable or Disable.
Good to know
- Past check-in ratings stay as they were. Edit a past check-in if you want to change a rating. If you leave Insiders, older 0.1 ratings stay; new check-ins use the standard scale again.
- Other people can see your 0.1 ratings.
- With 0.1 off, averages round up to the nearest 0.25. Turning 0.1 on can change the average shown on your drinks list because that rounding stops.
Don't see it?
- Don't see Enable 0.1 Ratings? You need to be an Insider, and the control lives under Settings > Insiders, not Advanced. Just became an Insider? Wait a few minutes for the toggle to appear.
