Setting Up Your Website

I’m in my UTFB account but don’t see the option to build a site. Why?
You may not have the necessary permissions. You may need to contact your primary user to ensure you have "Can list website themes" enabled under your user permissions list. -
Can I have more than one website design at a time in the site builder as I do with digital and print menus?
No, the site builder currently supports only one design per account. -
Can I delete a website once set up in my UTFB account?
No, websites cannot be deleted by users, but if you are dissatisfied with your site’s design you are able to select a different template and start over.
Building Your Website

What types of templates are available?
Templates are designed specifically for bars, restaurants, taprooms, breweries, and bottle shops. -
I don’t like my site’s template. Can I design my own layout?
Custom layouts are not supported, but you can always change your template to another available option at any time. -
How can I change the theme of the website to match my brand's colors?
You can find information about how to update your site’s theme colors here. -
Can I have separate pages for food and beverages?
No. At this time, all items are published to a single menu and cannot be split across separate pages. -
What information from Untappd for Business is pulled into my website automatically?
- Business name and phone number
- All information from the Location Settings>Branding screen. If no contact email is provided under Location Settings>Branding, the primary user’s email address will be used.
- Menus of any type
- Events and announcements

Why is default data showing up on my website?
During setup, if data such as your phone number or email address is not entered in Untappd for Business, default placeholder text will appear. You can either delete this information or update it in Untappd for Business directly. -
Why aren’t my changes showing up on the website?
Content changes may take up to 5 minutes to appear due to system caching for improved performance.

How can I see responses to the contact form?
Email responses will be sent to the contact email address added in UTFB under Location Settings > Branding -
How do I view my site analytics?
Once you have published your website, you will see your page views, unique visitors, and visit count for the last 30 days under your site’s name on the My Websites tab. Click “See more website analytics” for detailed info on your stats. -
Are UTFB websites optimized for mobile?
Yes, UTFB websites are optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Subscription Questions

Can I use the same website for multiple business locations?
No, each location requires a separate subscription. -
Can I purchase a different subscription type (monthly vs. annual) for my website?
No, your website subscription must match the frequency of your Untappd for Business subscription (annual or monthly). -
What happens if I rebrand my venue?
Rebranding typically has no effect on your website. However, you may need to update your site URL to reflect the new branding.
