Shelf talkers are a quick way to communicate information about a beer that might influence a customer to buy. Here are a few quick notes about the shelf talkers you can create in your UTFB account:
How To Read a Shelf Talker
The number in the upper left hand corner is the bottle cap rating translated into a weighted score from 50 to 100; this is meant to be the equivalent of the point scale commonly used for wines.
A beer rating of 0.25 (the lowest score possible for non-insider accounts) is equal to 50 points. A beer rating of (roughly) 4.79 or higher is equal to 100 points.
Creating Shelf Talkers
Shelf talkers pull directly from the information that has been entered into your UTFB account for a particular beer, which means that any edits you make there will be visible on the shelf talker.
Currently shelf talkers only support the form field names in English; however, the brewery, style, and description can be entered by you in your language of choice.
There are different sizes, configurations, and background colors to choose from. One shelf talker will print per page, so if you need to have multiple shelf talkers print on one sheet, you will need to set that up by either turning the sheet or downloading and adding them all to one document to print.
