Many businesses are starting to open back up after being impacted by COVID-19. We know that there are a ton of things to juggle when thinking about reopening.
We want to make sure that you have everything you need to get your business back up and running. Below is a checklist of a few important tips and tricks to help you out using your Untappd for Business account.
1.) Check your Location Information, Location Details, and Location Hours to make sure that everything on your venue page is up to date. Here's a quick article on how to Add or Update your Business Information.
2.) Check your Beer Menus and Food/Wine/Cocktail Menus to make sure that the items, pricing, and organization are up to date. If you are offering take-out or delivery, you can make specific to-go and delivery menus. Remember that our Food/Wine/Cocktail menus are completely customizable, so you can create menus for whatever you may need! The Food/Wine/Cocktail menus can be used with your website and Facebook menus, as well as your print menus and digital boards. 3.) Create Events to keep local users up to date on your business. You can create events for your re-opening dates or if you have made changes to your venue ie if you now offer on-line ordering. Users subscribed to your venue will get notified when you create new events. And users in your area viewing the Nearby Events portion of the Untappd app will see your events. 4.) Create Contactless Menus with your TVs. Digital Boards allow you to design your menus to be displayed on a TV screen. With many states limiting the use of handout menus, the digital boards offer a way to showcase your menus while still maintaining safe practices. You can include as many menus as you would like on your digital boards-- whether they be Beer Menus or Food/Wine/Cocktail menus. 5.) Toast and Comment your Customers. Using the Venue-Check-ins tool in your account you can toast (our version of a Facebook like) and comment on the check-ins at your venue. This is a great way to thank loyal customers and reach out to new ones. Make sure to click the On-Premise and Purchased From options to see users who may be drinking at your venue and those that may be purchasing alcohol from you to drink elsewhere. 6.) Check your Analytics. While many businesses have been closed or on limited hours, people are still drinking and checking-in on Untappd. Checking out your Venue Stats will show you what people have been enjoying while checking-in at your venue. 7.) Advertise your Verified Venue. Now that you have everything updated you can start to share your venue page with users.
