You can edit your check-ins to correct any information you may have entered incorrectly at the time of check-in. There are two ways to edit your check-ins:
- From the "Check-in Details" page
- From the "down caret" at the top right of a check-in from your "Profile Page" or the "Activity Feed"
There are a few important things to note:
- Edited check-ins may change what future badge that particular check-in may qualify for (Riding Steady, Middle of the Road, etc.) - but badges are not removed from edited check-ins. Badges are awarded at the time of check-in.
- Deleted check-ins will remove all badges associated with that check-in, as well as remove that beer from your "Unique" and "Total" Counts
- You can add a location to a check-in by editing it. If you did not add a location at the time of check-in but had your location services enabled - you will be able to edit the check-in to add a location. The location that you add will be based on the location you were when you originally posted the check-in.
- Editing a check-in to include a Verified Venue will not grant you any Local Badges.
- Editing a check-in is only supported on our iOS and Android apps.
Check-in Details:
- Navigate to the check-in you would like to edit in your profile page or your activity feed
- Select the "Check-In Details >" icon to go to the Check-in Details page
- You can navigate to this page by selecting "View Details >" icon at the bottom of a check-in in a variety of places, such as your profile page, activity feed, etc.
- Select the "More Options" icon in the top right of the check-in
- Select "Edit"
- Edit the check-in accordingly
- Select "Save"
Profile Page or Activity Feed:
- Navigate to the check-in you would like to edit in your profile page or your activity feed
- Select the "down caret" icon in the top right of the check-in
- Select "Edit"
- Edit the check-in accordingly
- Select "Save"
