Your Chromebit will fall asleep due to inactivity if you don't have the correct settings turned on.
We'll first want to check for updates. To do this, select the three dots in the top right and choose “Help” and then “About Google Chrome” Once you have done that, you will see an option in the center of the screen that allows you to check for updates.
Once you have confirmed the device is up to date, you will want to re-open those settings and scroll down to the “Device” category in the center, choosing “Power”
**NOTE**If you do not see Device in the above Settings, go to the bottom right hand corner of your screen and click on the time. From here, hit the gear to access your Chromebit settings.
From here, click Device, and then Power.
You will see “When Idle” – change the dropdown on the right from “Sleep” to “Keep Display On”
