So you noticed there were some changes made to the custom lists - but find that you can't sort by all the same criteria as before? Dont worry - you can!
1) First select the Filter/Sort Icon in the upper right-hand corner of your custom list
2) Then select the "Filter by Type" drop-down:
3) Select the type:
4) Then select "Apply"
5) After you've selected "Apply", your screen will look similar to the below. Select the filter/sort icon in the upper right:
6) Now, you will see the sort features that you are accustomed to seeing:
