What is that top bar with the cool looking icons? It's how you get around Untappd. Let's explore - shall we?

The Bar

When you log in to Untappd - you'll see a top bar with 4 buttons - Friend Feed, The Pub, Your Tab, and Drink Up.

Friend Feed

This is default view that shows when load the application. This view show all your Friends and their most recent checkins. Friends are paginated showing the most recent 12 check-ins first - with an option to see more.

The Pub

The Pub is a Global Feed of all user non-private users and their beer check-ins. You can use the search bar at the top to search for a specific term or you can use the Geo-Location feature (by clicking the GPS icon on right side) to see what is happening around you. You must have a device that supports HTML5 Geo-Location in the browser. For a list of supported devices - click here

Your Tab

This is your central profile on Untappd. It shows your recent activity, badges and settings. You activity tab lists the last beer checkins that you have completed. You can click on the arrow to the right of the checkin to view a more detailed view including comments and number of toasts.

In the badges tab - you are able to see each badge that you have unlocked. Tab or Click the earned badges to display a more detailed view of the badge and how you obtained it. If you don't have the badge - you can Tab or Click it to see a pop-up of the badge description to give you an hint on how you obtain it.

If you touch one of the badges that you don't have - a popup will give a description of the badge - and perhaps a hint on how to get it!

In the settings page - you are able to view some basic configuration settings for your account. You are able to change your password, toggle your privacy setting and change your settings with respect to badges and sharing to Facebook or Twitter. It will also show you your linked accounts.

Drink Up

This is where all the magic happens. This page shows all the beers that are trending (most popular) and then on the top your favorites.

Clicking on the brew that you want - takes you to the pre-checkin page where you can add a comment, location, or post to your social networks.

After you click Confirm Brew - you will be presented with a post-checkin page with all the details of your checkin. Maybe you got a badge!
