Search doesn't return same beers as website

I find that the Search in the iPhone app does not return as many beers on the website, meaning I have to login to the website or add my check-in's retrospectively. For example, Hommelbier and Zeezuiper (including search by their breweries) didn't appear in the iPhone app search results but do in the website search results.

I just tried to search "Hommelbier" and got the same results across the apps. Are you using the official iPhone App from Untappd?

I wasn't aware there was an unofficial one! Yes, I am using the official application. I will try again, in case of network interferance, and will let you know my results.

Hi Greg,
I've switch to an Android phone now and not found the problem. I tried again just before I switched and it seemed to be resolved. I think the issue was more user related - the app is just not intuitive to add/find beers.

And to give you an idea, I work with data visualization software that is used to work on top of a complex, less attractive but powerful ERP system. Let me know if you want some advice on how to improve the app in this respect.

Sure - go ahead and email me greg AT untappd DOT com. Please be aware that we are a VERY small team (2 people, 1 developer). It's the same code to search for beers/breweries on the website that it is on the app so I'm curious to see what you have to say/
