iPhone Apps Requires Login Every Time I Open It

Every time I open my iPhone app I have to enter all my login information.

    Did you recently have your user-name changed? Do your app set to launch on the checkin screen? Does it work when you don't force close?

    • I haven't changed my user name since I joined Untappd in March 2011
    • In Settings, "Load Checkin By Default" is not checked
    • It works correctly for a seemingly random amount of time (sometimes minutes, sometimes an hour) before requiring me to log back in.

    I don't know the architecture of the app or where it's managing security, but if feels more of a server-side issue than an app issue. Almost like the server is bouncing and then forcing the app to re-authenticate.

    Mark,

    We store all of our tokens in the LOCALSTORAGE, so my guess is that you have the incorrect tokens which keep bouncing you out every-time you come back.

    I'm going to take a deeper dive here to see if I can figure it out. I can't replicate this on e 4 different devices with multiple accounts.

    I am also having this problem with the app. If I quit the app or haven't opened it in a while (<1 hour, not sure how long exactly), it makes me log in again. I do have login by default checked.

    This will be fixed in a our new release. Try try re-install the app and let me know if that fixes the issue.
