I have been actively working on my Rising Sun badge. I have had more than 10 beers from Japan, but Have not received the badge yet. I have had the following beers from Japan.

Sapporo Draft Beer = 2
Sapporo Premium Lager = 10
Ichiban (Shibori) = 3
Asahi Super Dry = 3
Asahi Select = 2

   I also have the same issue with the Down Under badge. I have had 10 different beers from Australia
   Original Pale Ale = 2
   Sparkling Ale = 8

   Hey Bill,

   I think there might be some confusion here about these badges. All our badges, reward you for trying different beers - not just the same one.

   I'm looking at your history, and I only see 2 DIFFERENT (or distinct) beers from Australia. You need to check-in to 10 different (not the same one) Australia beers). I see the same problem for Japan (where you have 5).

   Does this make sense? Let me know if you have any questions.

   OK, makes sense. Oh well, will be harder to achieve now since there aren't very many beers from Australia and Japan distributed in Texas. :-( Thanks anyhow.
