Problems getting to the home page

Whenever I log in to Untappd, I am directed to my Friends Activity page. I haven't been able to get past that page since signing up to Untappd. I was able to post one beer when I first signed up, but that's it. I can't get to the page that allows me to post and rate beers. What am I doing wrong? I've gone to the Navigation page which explains the Bar with the four icons at the top (Friend Feed, The Pub, Your Tab, and Drink Up.). However, I can't get to that page. I am able to respond to requests from others to allow them to be my friend. Otherwise I seem to be stuck on my Friends Activity page. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   Jim,

   I'm confused - if you can't get past the friends activity -how did you check in you first beer?

   All you need to do is go to the Drink Up tab, Search for the Beer, Select the Beer, then it will take it to the beer page. Once you are the beer page, touch Check-in. Then you add a comment, location and/or rate it.

   Do you not see the Drink Up button your Mobile App?

   If you are using the website, just search for the beer, select it, then click "Check-In".

   Thanks for your quick reply. I've now figured out how to get to the beer
   check-in tab, with your help. I must have stumbled on how to do it for my
   first beer when I signed up for Untappd earlier this week. I'm not on a
   mobile app, so I'm working from your website. I've ordered an IPad so I
   assume I'll be able to pick up a mobile app for Untappd with it. Again,
   thanks for your help. Great site--very helpful.
