Location Data Not showing
I can't get any location based tasks to work in untappd. I've
tried everything suggested in the support section of this site. I'm
running android 2.3. I have the latest version of firefox. I can
even get the test site to work, http://gregavola.me/geotest.html.
Thanks in advance for the help.

What phone are you currently running? Does maps.google.com work for you?
Have you tried using the native app and not the web app?
Thanks,
Greg

I'm using a HTC Thunderbolt. Google maps does work for me. The native app
location won't work, but the http://m.untappd.com does.

Shawn,
If you open up the default browser on your phone and point the browser to http://maps.google.com and try to "locate yourself" - does it work?
Are you using Firefox for the mobile site? Try using the default browser. Your phone is not rooted at all is it?
Thanks,
Greg

I was able to locate myself in the browser when going to this site. I'm
using firefox. I'm not able to use the default android browser because I
removed it once I installed firefox. My phone is rooted, does that make a
difference? I'm using CM7.

Our native application uses the WebView of Chrome - so I'm surprised it works at all with Chrome installed.
It's hard to provide support for a rooted phone, especially when default browser is gone. Can you add it back and try?
Thanks,
Greg

So I've installed the default browser and un-installed all other browsers.
For some reason, I can' get location to work. I've cleared the cache and
location data, but when i try to go to google maps it just says location
cannot be determined. I have "use wireless networks" and "use gps
satellites" turned on in my location settings.

Shawn,
Sounds like this a missing component of your "rooting"? If google doesn't work - nothing will. Have you gone in to you Maps (app) setting and choose "Clear Map Data"?
Thanks,
Greg

Yes, I've tried that.

Shawn,
Sounds like there a problem with your current root version. Perhaps HTML5 location is not enabled with the standard browser which is what we use.
Can you do send me a LogCat of the "infinitive loading"?
