Homebrew logging issue
I tried to log in my dad's homebrew last night, but I don't quite understand how to proceed. The iPhone "app" (homepage) kept forcing me to choose a brewery before I could go on. This was even when I had "Yes, this is a home brew" turned on. I can't choose a brewery.
How do I get past it asking me to choose a brewery? There was no
"skip" or "none" option. I got to the "select a brewery" step (#2),
and it was either choose one or go back. Nor can I quite see how to
do it through the computer by going to your website. I stuck in the
name "Dad's IPA #55" and I got back "No beers found" and
no option the way I did on my phone to add it.
Help!
Thank you,
Heather Self

Heather,
Search for the Brewery in "Step 2". You just type the name of the Brewery you want to add to it and hit the "Enter Button" on the keypad/board.
For a homebrew - you want to make your own distinct Brewery - so if is the first one - enter the name of your Brewery you want and press the "Enter" or "Go" button on your keypad. Then the last entry will say "Add Your Brewery". Touch that and follow the steps for that and you should be on your way.
Let us know if you have any trouble!
Thanks,
Greg

Ohhh....Funny you should say "make up your own brewery" because I had that idea,
and then my dad and I were joking about names we could use. :-) So now I get
to add one at 8:24 am and look like a happy lush. I just wasn't sure. (There
sure are a lot of breweries in that list...!)
Many thanks.
Hope you had loads of fun at SXSW; a friend from work went (he's a twin to your
avatar, actually. Sorta funny). And if you ever get out to Portland, we'd
happily take you on a pubcrawl to all the tasty places in my brother's
neighborhood (i.e. Hair of the Dog for one). Even if you've already been out
here, there's always new places (heck, there's places I haven't been to).

Hey Heather,
We actually didn't get a change to head down SXSW this year! Wasn't in the cards for us (very expensive for this startup). Hopefully for next year!
I'll let you know if we're heading to Portland! I know we have a lot of great uses out there and I'd love to get some Full Sail Session lager from the source!
Minor Plug: If you have some time today - we would love if you could support us in our March Madness App bracket by voting for us at http://untpd.it/smtR3
Thanks again for your support Heather!

I think I did vote in this round, but I'll do it again...just in case. I think
voting twice is better than not at all...plus it's not like the nefarious
ballot-stuffing that seemed to happen in the first round, for the website you
were up against. :-)
Right now you have a tidy 60% of the votes. w00t!
