Not sure if this is feasible, but more emphasis should be placed on ratings and uniting various ratings sites. Everybody knows that rate beer is too generous and beer advocate has no mobile app yet, so perhaps find some way of combining the two or preemping them both by having a mobile rating database. Everything even remotely related to the Internet is connected through facebook, why not do the same thing with beer and untappd?

Not sure what you asking to do - are you saying you Untappd should leverage existing sites like Rate Beer and Beer Advocate to get a rating for a beer and scrap our rating system?

Again, not sure what this would take or even if it's possible but perhaps place more emphasis on your own rating system, making a ratings database more prominent. That or leverage Beer Advocate, who has been having trouble for a couple years now creating their own native app. It's no secret how popular they are so that combined with Untappd's nice interface and clever niche would make not only a good combo, but also go a long way in the beer community.
Anyways, keep on doing cool stuff.

Unfortunately the Beer Advocate guys are not interested in working with us in this endeavor so that is not an option currently. Perhaps in the future!
