Hello,

I created a beer choice for the Dog and Cask Barrel Aged Orange Swisher by Carton Brewing last night - it is Carton Orange Swisher aged in Negroni barrels specifically for Dog and Cask, and today when I check the entry for the beer, it was deleted and merged with Orange Swisher. I was wondering why this was the case.

Thanks,

Dan

It was merged by the brewery - they said "Dog and Cask Barrel Aged is not a
real beer". Let us know how you like us to proceed?

Interesting, the staff at Dog and Cask said: "Carton Barrel Aged Orange Swisher (Made for DNC in 2014 and this is the last barrel)" - my assumption was from the brewery/with the brewery's knowledge

I asked what barrels it was aged in and they told me barrels that had previously held Negroni cocktail.

No idea where to go from here.

I've reached out the brewery on your behalf - hopefully they will response
soon. If it's just a regular cask beer - it's not allowed - but you are
saying it was made as a one-off by the brewery with special ingredients,
    that's OK.

Yes, sorry I know it's misleading, the bar is called Dog & Cask, it's not just a cask version of orange swisher.

    Thank you

    Dan,

The brewery said they never made that beer - so I'm at at loss on what you actually had! :( Maybe ask the bar to double check?

OK. The base beer is orange Swisher by carton brewing. The dog and Cask sells barrel aged cocktails. They put a negroni and a coal miners daughter inside two separate dads hat rye whiskey barrels. They then aged the orange Swisher in these dads hat rye whiskey barrels that previously held giant mixed cocktails in them. Look up the cocktails if u wanna know what they contain. I also have the last growler in existence of it btw.

    Hey Jeese,

Because this blended post brewery, it's not supported as new beer. It would
need to be blended by the brewer before kegging to be allowed. Let me know
    if this helps!
